L’approccio al Sacro è una necessità umana fondamentale analoga alle esigenze fisiche ed alimentari.
Attraverso la religione, l’uomo ha posto la ritualità del soddisfacimento dei bisogni dell’anima ad un livello di importanza superiore a quello di qualsiasi cerimonia o liturgia laica legata ai bisogni della carne.
Cibarsi, procreare, provare piacere sessuale, riposarsi, defecare sono ambiti nei quali il cerimoniale e la ritualità sono secondari, se non assenti.
Pregare, domandarsi il senso, rapportarsi con ciò che è incomprensibile sono azioni umane pesantemente connesse alle espressioni convenzionali del rito.
Questa constatazione oggettiva pur descrivendo la generalità non ha carattere assoluto: così come esiste preghiera senza Talmud o rapporto con Dio senza chiesa esiste invece uno specifico dress-code per la baldracca che si offre al cliente e pure una precisa sequenza cerimoniale nell’azione del sommelier.
La correlazione tra rito e Sacro è estremamente radicata tanto da confonderne i valori nell’approccio esteriore alla religione o nella trasformazione in sacro di attività fortemente rituali come il tifo sportivo.
